S.C. police misconduct update

A North Charleston police officer was charged with assault and battery third degree for punching someone in the face in a bar.
A Town of Yemassee police officer has been fired and charged with Criminal Sexual Conduct and Misconduct of a Public Official, following allegations that he made a driver perform oral sex on him in exchange for not writing them a ticket. According to the arrest warrant the incident was captured on audio.
A SLED agent was fired and sixteen Anderson County drug cases dismissed after it was discovered that the agent lied to obtain arrest warrants in the cases.
A Berkeley County Sheriff’s Deputy has been fired after being arrested and charged with Official Misconduct and Criminal Domestic Violence.
