Horry County Police Department Sexcapades

Four former HCPD officers/detectives were indicted September 15 for misconduct.  They are being prosecuted by the Attorney General’s Office and not the local Solicitor’s Office.

Troy Allen Large was indicted on six counts of misconduct in office and five counts of criminal sexual conduct third degree, based on allegations that he coerced sex and otherwise had inappropriate relationships with victims in cases that he was investigating.  Large has already been sued for allegations of sexually assaulting victims in cases that he was handling.

Daryl Williams was indicted for nine counts of misconduct in office, including allegations that he failed to investigate crimes he was assigned to and that he used his county vehicle and county paid time to work for a different state agency.

Todd Cox was indicted for sixteen counts of misconduct in office, including allegations that he closed cases without investigating them and un-assigned himself from other cases, leaving them with no investigator assigned.

Luke Green was indicted for three counts of misconduct in office, including allegations that he had sex with an informant and also had inappropriate sexual contact with a suspect during an arrest.
